AUSTIN, Texas - King Tiger Technology, Inc. is announcing that it has chosen to use Test Contactors from Johnstech International for testing DDR3 DIMMs and SODIMMs on their new KT-3series Testers. KingTiger has designed-in Johnstech's Edge 400a Series Contactors for both DIMM and SODIMM DDR3 fixtures and will be demonstrating this technology alliance at the Intel Developers Forum (IDF) at Moscone Center in San Francisco August 19th-21st in Booth 530.

KingTiger has combined a traditional ATE (Automatic Test Equipment)-style Tester with their new, patented Behavioral Test Technology (BTT) to produce a revolutionary new test system for testing memory semiconductors. The ATE section of the KT-3series Tester offers advanced programming features and high frequency testing on DDR2 and DDR3 devices and modules. KT-3series Testers are available in single-site and 8-site configurations for module testing, and up to 256 sites in parallel, for device testing. The BTT component of the machine enables Test Engineers to use actual applications such as PC's and servers as test pattern generation sources, thus more closely replicating a real world test condition. The KT-3series of Testers can be ordered directly from KingTiger or KingTiger's agents in USA, Europe or Asia.
