AUSTIN, Texas - King Tiger Technology, Inc is announcing test support on its KT-3series testers for IDT's new line of low power DDR3 registers. Memory modules built with the IDT DDR3 registers will be fully supported on the KT-3series testers for functional, parametric and custom tests. KingTiger will have a demonstration of this technology at the Intel Developers Forum (IDF) in San Francisco at Moscone Center from August 19th to 21st in booth 531.
KingTiger has combined a traditional ATE (Automatic Test Equipment) style tester with their new, patented Behavioral Test Technology (BTT) to produce a revolutionary new test system for testing memory semiconductors. The ATE section of the KT-3series testers offers advanced programming features and high frequency testing on DDR2 and DDR3 devices and modules. The KT-3series of testers are available in single site and 8-site configurations for module testing and up to 256 sites in parallel for device testing. The BTT component of the machine enables test engineers to use actual applications such as PC's and servers as test pattern generation sources, thus more closely replicating a real world test condition. The KT-3series of testers can be ordered directly from KingTiger from KingTiger's agents in USA, Europe or Asia. For further information, please visit the website at www.kingtigertech.com.
"KingTiger has had a long working relationship with IDT, which has allowed us to provide working test solutions for Fully Buffered DIMMs using IDT's AMB's in the past. The success of this relationship has carried over into DDR3 and we are happy to provide our customers with support for these products." - Casey Pankonien, President, King Tiger Technology, Inc.
"The folks at IDT have been very supportive. Both IDT and KingTiger recognize the need to have a complete working test solution for DDR3 registers for our mutual customers, and there has been a co-operative effort to insure that our customers have this solution available." - Nik Tryer, Business Development Manager, King Tiger Technology, Inc.
"As new DDR3 server platforms are becoming available it is important that the industry have working, compatible and tested memory solutions for those platforms. IDT has been working closely with KingTiger to make sure that this technology is fully supported." - Sean Fan, Vice President and General Manager, Memory Interface Division, IDT, Inc
